Haus Gudesberg in St. Wendel

Delivery fast and on time, food was perfectly prepared. Gladly again :)

Ordered today for 6 people (yes, only 2 households). Point 7 - as agreed - the boss himself was at the door. The food was still hot, all portions were really sufficient and very tasty. Definitely thumbs up. Price-performance ratio absolutely appropriate. For the game ragout, I had expected 2-3 euros more. We will continue to order here!

We always like to go to Haus Gudesberg for dinner. Here you can spend a nice time in a nice atmosphere. You can also taste that good ingredients are used for cooking. Mr. Wittwer always takes time for a little chat at the table, if the company allows it. I always find that particularly beautiful. Even now in lockdown, we have already fetched take away food from him. Very tasty😋 ... and better than FastFood

We went to eat there 2 months ago. The food was ok; the tablecloth had unsightly stains. Could be improved.

Long waiting times for food and drinks. We were 10 people ... Side dishes were sometimes incorrectly noted. Drinks orders are often forgotten & usually only brought there when requested (or not at all) ... Empty glasses stayed at the table instead of being taken away. Dessert variation came with melted ice cream and without a spoon (cutlery). VERY shame, because the owner and employees are really friendly!

Went there with a company party. Great food, very friendly staff. All wishes were fulfilled. I can only recommend. Thumbs up 👍

Great service. We only drank something, but the operator offered us a few amuse-gueule. A small wild garlic pesto and olives. Delicious ... Unfortunately, due to the current situation (Corona) it has to be closed at 10 p.m. I think in summer and outdoors - a highlight ... I will go there again ... ... and that was me. For lunch on Sundays. Everything prepared perfectly and delicious. Price performance fits ...

Basically good food, but today we had no luck with the meat quality despite the well-known good cuisine. A nice service, but depending on the person can vary greatly in their professionalism. It would be nice here to train the possibly unskilled workers more in etiquette. The terrace offers a beautiful view of St. Wendel, but is getting old. A nice tablecloth would do a lot here. The long waiting time for the bill made for another deduction today, but one can recommend the house.

Spent our birthday there & we couldn't have made a better choice :) My dish was the ox cheeks and they tasted excellent. My fellow guests were also thoroughly satisfied! Bedside table incredibly delicious! Service very nice and friendly !! Gladly again :)

A cozy and nice restaurant on the outskirts in the forest. It has a nice view of the city from the terrace. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent in quality and preparation. It was very tasty and had fun eating. The price was for the offered more than ok! Keep it up!

After reading some really lousy reviews here, after some initial hesitation we came back to Gudesberg - just to give us an idea if we could recommend the place even further or not. In short: Definitely! The food is good, the staff attentive, the location pleasant. The other may want to see things differently - so be it. And if the portions are too small to say: there is a difference between good food and a lot of food. The fact that it did not become 5 stars is simply due to the fact that it is also much better, but that's why Jens Wittwer, his team, his food or his restaurant are not bad. We will definitely go back there, sure :-)

Simply fantastic food again ... Anytime again ... Live flambéed steak! Steak was absolutely brought to the point by the chef - a pleasure!
